The Women’s Housing Company (WHC) has been providing housing to single women since 1982.  They are a tier 2 Not-for-profit community housing provider with exciting plans for growth and partnerships with other providers.The Property Services Manager is an integral member of the Senior Management Team and reports directly to the CEO.  They lead a team of Maintenance Officers and work closely with the CFO in relation to budgeting and reporting and the Housing Services Manager in relation to optimising service delivery outcomes for tenants.The core purpose of the role is twofold.  They are responsible for:Directing, planning and controlling the property maintenance function; andSupporting the growth of the WHC by identifying opportunities for portfolio growth, contributing to tenders and managing the delivery of development projects and related obligations ie contract and stakeholder management.Key accountabilities include:Effective and inspirational leadership including driving employee performance and organisational culture;Contributing to the development of the strategic plan and developing and implementing the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and Service Delivery Plan (SDP);Preparing reports for the CEO, Board and regulatory bodies;Managing risk and compliance including; contractor safety, national registration requirements and keeping abreast of relevant laws and regulations attaining to asset maintenance and development;Developing, monitoring and reporting on asset and project budgets and embedding best practice procurement practices;Devising and implementing customer feedback and contractor performance reviews;Identifying opportunities for growth, conducting feasibility studies and supervising delivery of property re/development and maintenance projects;When applying for this role, please address the following selection criteria in your application and covering letter:Your commitment and alignment to WHC's values and vision; At least 5 years experience leading high performing teams and coaching and driving best practice;Relevant degree and/or qualifications;Experience leading a property maintenance program in line with relevant regulations including; response, planned and cyclical programs;Project management and contract management expertise in property re/development (affordable/social housing preferred);Knowledge of the social and affordable housing sector, its regulatory environment, laws and regulations relating to asset management and property development.A full position description can be found below, or can be obtained by emailing ncarrington@bloominghr.com.au.A NSW driver's license is essential and a White Card will be required to complete this role.  Please note that being female is a genuine occupational requirement of this role [Sec 31 Anti Discrimination Act 1977].Position Description - Property Services Manager Australia - NSW Sydney CBD, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs
